The 3D Printed Bass Guitar
Christmas 2025, I set myself the ultimate 3D‑printing challenge: to design and build a fully playable bass guitar. Over the next six months, I pushed through around 15–20 prototype iterations — complete with failures, redesigns, and plenty of frustration — to refine the instrument into what it is today. The final piece features a custom internal structure reinforced with a stainless‑steel rod, giving it strength, stability, and a feel that genuinely works as a real instrument. It’s a one‑of‑a‑kind creation, not available to the public, with a bold, unique look and a sound that holds its own.
